The big day has come and gone

Ira my little brother got married on Friday. I am still a little in shock from the whole thing. I always knew that some day he would get married, but it was always in the back of my mind. Now it has actually happened. The wedding was on a brisk morning. (Good thing they did it before the snow) They got married in the Twin Falls Temple and Michael and I were the lucky ones who were chosen to take pictures. I did video at the wedding and Michael took the pictures. Then at the reception I took some pictures. I am no where near as good at taking pictures as Michael is, so I gave him the more important job at the temple. I got to see lots of family and friends. It was a great ceremony. Then we were off to my little apartment to decorate the cake. My mom made the cake and with the help of our wonderful talented friends Renae and Chrissy, they decorated it. It was a very simple cake, but it turned out very pretty. Thanks guys! It was great to visit with Renae and Chrissy, Richard took off with my dad and his foreign exchange students to do guy stuff, so we didn't get to see them much. All I have to say is we have to stop with the short quick visits! But I'll take whatever time we can get together! The reception was very nice with lots of food and a chocolate fountain! That's my favorite part of receptions! Then we decorated the car. The famous Olsen decorating of the car, it's tradition, and we made sure to get this car extra good, kind of a payback for all the cars he has gotten in this single years! It was pitch black when I was taking the pictures, but most of them turned out pretty good. I am still editing the photos, but I will add them just as soon as they are ready for posting! Thanks everyone for all your help and congratulations to Ira and Brandi!

Figuring this out

Yay, so I figured out how to get cool backgrounds like everyone else and I didn't even have to ask Chrissy this time! I think I might be able to handle this blogging thing. I have to work at our Church fair booth tonight at our county fair. I am in Young Women's and they do fundraisers to help the girls raise funds for camp. So wish us luck and hope we make lots of money tonight!

The Beginning

We couldn't get Shane to take off his hat, now we see why, nice tan line!
We mountain climbed for this shot!

Aren't we so cute?

All of us together, one happy family!

So I have been following a few blogs for quite some time now thinking I really should get one started, but never did until now. I decided I had put it off long enough and here I am. It may take me awhile to get picutres and the likes up, but hopefully I can eventually catch everyone up on what Mike and I have been doing for the last four years. It's amazing how fast time goes by. I can't believe that it's almost been four years since we were married. I guess time flies when you are having fun! Here are a few pictures to start my blog off with. They are family pictures we had taken this spring for my mom for a mother's day present. We ended up not getting that many because we got hailed out by the biggest hailstorm I've ever been in. It was quite the storm. Anyway, enjoy!
