Update

Well, a lot has happened since I last posted. Some good and some not so good. So let's get the bad over with. Mike's grandmas passed away in mid-October. I say grandmas because his biological grandma and his real grandma both passed away, on the same day no less. It's been a difficult couple of months with deaths in both our families, but we are hanging in there! Mike retook his GRE and we were hoping he did better than last year, but in actuality he did worse. :( So we will see where that gets us. I lost a camera case with a memory card full of pictures from this summer. But I am still hoping and praying that it will turn up. It was left at a YM-YW function and the leader that ended up with it can't find it, but she knows she has it. So pray for a miracle that it gets found! I was competing in a contest to try to win a computer and the whole time I thought I was right there close until I found out there was another board I wasn't watching, so the hopes of a free new computer are gone. Well, that sums up the  bad news... On to better things
Mike is reapplying to More schools this year and so far things have been looking up (minus the GRE score) He took the MAT test which some schools take and got a score good enough that ISU will take, so we are looking for other schools that take the MAT that he can apply to as well. He is studying hard and retaking classes and doing well. He hopes to end the season with all A's which will help tremendously.
Little Man is still growing like crazy and learning new words and sounds all the time. He knows what a cow, dog, rooster, duck, cat, elephant, butterfly, and sometimes pig say, and can recognize each by site. His favorite is the cow. Right now Horses say Moo Moo too, but we are working on that. He still runs and climbs on everything. The other  day I caught him trying to climb up into his crib, and he would have made it if I hadn't caught him, but I don't want him to figure out how to do the reverse and climb out of his crib. He has enough trouble staying in it as it is! Little Man also started nursery the end of September right before conference and so far has not freaked out once when we dropped him off. He even wanted to go when I was visiting my friend Chrissy in Washington. Way to go!
I did take a trip to Washington with my mom and grandpa. It was a swell time, and I do have some pictures to post and will make a separate for that. I have been trying to stay busy at work which is a challenge this time of year with not much going on. I realized just the other day that I had completed my Personal Progress. The requirements for leaders are a bit different than they are for the girls and instead of accomplishing each value requirement and project you only have to do 3 value projects plus the virtue which is reading the Book of Mormon. So I guess I am almost complete. I still have to finish reading the Book of Mormon, but I have actually gone above and beyond because I had most of the other value projects finished before I found that out and was in the middle of a few that I didn't want to give up doing. Personal Progress has been a huge spiritual boost in my life, one that I deeply needed and I enjoyed doing it a lot!
All in all we are still plugging away here in Idaho hoping that someone will see the potential in Mike and accept him to Physical Therapy school. I would like to move on to a new chapter in my life. One that hopefully involves me staying at home with my Little Man full-time. I think I am ready for a change of venue, ready for the next adventure in our life. Anyway, more to come as always, I am behind in posting pictures of our adventures!
